About Maggie
Maggie Normandin is an art educator in Stamford, CT. Her friends and family consider her a positive person & good listener. She is passionate about art, music, social justice, spirituality, travel, & wellness. She fell in love with art as a child & is fortunate enough to be teaching grades kindergarten through 8th grade. She received her undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, CT in Art Education with a concentration in Painting. She received her graduate degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT in Media Literacy & Digital Culture with concentrations in Media & Social Justice as well as Children, Health, & Media. Her hope is to take her knowledge from this program & apply it to her life as an artist & educator. In a world where everything is rapidly evolving, she is determined to be a part of the growth. Her goal is to use an artistic lens to promote media literacy education & social justice.
